After an accident, only what you wrote down still counts a year later. This app helps you keep that record, day by day, without anything leaving your phone.
The app itself is currently in Dutch. English, German, French and Spanish are being built now. This page is here so you can read what the app does and how it handles your data before those versions arrive.
The screen names are still Dutch for now: Overzicht is the overview, Instellingen is settings.
An injury comes with a pile of paperwork on top of the recovery. How much pain were you in on 12 June? How many hours of work did you miss that month? Who did your shopping, and how often? Where is the receipt from the physiotherapist?
A year later, nobody remembers. And that is exactly when it has to be put on the table.
One minute each evening: scores for pain, mood, energy and sleep, what you could not manage, hours of work missed, help from others, treatments and medication. With room to write in your own words how the day went.
Every expense with its receipt, photographed there and then. Travel costs are calculated against your own mileage rate. Advance payments you have received are listed separately, so you can always see what is still outstanding.
When you need it, the app turns all of it into a single PDF: your details, the other party, witnesses, your insurance policies, costs by category, the diary day by day with photos, and your receipts. PDF attachments such as a police report are bound in behind the report unchanged, each with a separator page in front of it.
The report is built to be forwarded. A4, generous margins, costs by category with an itemisation underneath, and for each day the scores followed by the facts in a fixed order. The PDF is searchable, and attachments are not flattened into images but sit in it as real pages.
In short: something you can read without having to sort it first.
You can cancel at any time, including during the trial. If the subscription ends, your file stays readable and you can still produce your report; only adding new days, costs and attachments stops.
Costs you incur to substantiate your loss can often be recovered from the liable party as part of the costs of the claim. The app can therefore add the monthly amount to your own costs automatically, under legal costs. Whether that works in your case depends on your case, on the insurer, and on the country you are claiming in, so ask the person handling your claim.
This app is built around a single principle: what you write down is yours and stays with you. There is no account, no server, no login. Injury File collects no personal data.

Delete the app and everything goes with it. So make a backup now and then from the Overview screen; that file is yours to keep, wherever you want it.
Nothing leaves the device when the report is made either. The font used in the document sits inside the app, precisely so that no request goes out to an outside party at that moment.
The app asks for access to your camera and photo library so you can capture a receipt or your injury, and to the file picker for PDFs such as a police report. That access is used only at the moment you add something yourself. What you add stays in the app on your device.
The subscription runs through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and the trial period, and Apple's own privacy policy applies to that processing. We receive no personal data from Apple: no name, no address, no payment details, only anonymised sales figures.
The GDPR gives you the right to see your data, to have it corrected and to have it erased. Because we hold nothing of yours, you can exercise those rights directly: everything is in the app, you change it where you like, and Settings lets you wipe all of it in one action. There is nothing you need to ask us for.
The app is intended for adults keeping a record of a personal injury claim. No data is collected, from anyone.
If anything about this statement changes, the new version appears here with the date on it. A material change is announced in the app as well.

Make a backup first from the Overview screen, then restore it on the new device from Settings. Photos are not in that file; they live in the app itself.
